I would love to buy into the cost more in the long run meme. We live in a fifty state continuum of graduated depraved cruelty. Sadly, cash assistance cuts are immediately reinforced with drastic cuts to alternate support systems. The South is hardly drowning in exploding complementary budgets. Sadism is inertial, as Welfare Reform is proving over and over again.
