The GOP’s tax cut bonanza is a major attack on Medicare

Cámara de Representantes aprueba reforma fiscal propuesta por presidente Trump

Do you trust Paul Ryan to protect your Medicare benefits? How about White House budget director Mick Mulvaney, a former member of the House Freedom Caucus, and like Ryan, a longstanding foe of Medicare?

  1. $400 billion in Medicare cuts while the entire Congress, Democrats and Republicans, gave the Military an additional, and illegal, increase of $150 billion in 2018 on a voice vote.

Simple math tells us that $150 billion dollars times 10 years equals
    $1.5 trillion dollars.

Clearly “starving the beast” means, according to the Republicans, giving the military everything dime that they want while cutting every penny possible out of so-called “entitlement” programs.

Workers contribute money to Social Security and Medicare every time they receive a paycheck.
Which means that these so-called “entitlement” programs are, in fact, not entitlements at all.

    More Republican lies.
