Former White House chief of staff nails Mitch McConnell for hiding Russian interference in 2016

Denis McDonough (6)

On Sunday morning’s Meet The Press with host Chuck Todd, the longtime political correspondent brought on Barack Obama’s former chief of staff Denis McDonough to address lingering questions on what, if anything, could have been done to prevent Vladimir Putin and his Kremlin from interfering in the 2016 presidential election.

Of course, Obama could have stood up to McConnell and done it anyway, but you know he doesn’t do things like that.

  1. To be fair, we should keep in mind that the Obama administration, at that time, did not want to publicize the Russia connection either.
McDonough even wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post asking the Democrats to avoid calling out Russia publically “mainly to avoid politicizing the issue.”

One way to mitigate the partisan back biting we are seeing connected to tampering with our election computers is to use Paper Ballots in 2018 and 2020.
Or until we can secure the entire voting machine operation country wide. How much that will cost, or even if it can be accomplished at all is the question?

    Again Paper Ballots.
