Lawmakers just voted to make N.J. gun laws even tougher

The state Assembly voted Monday to pass six bills to make New Jersey’s gun laws even tougher amid a national call for more gun control — and despite hundreds of people who descended upon the state’s capital in protest.

  1. That’s a tiny baby step in the right direction.

    I guess, “which would prohibit the sale of all military-style assault rifles like the Assault Rifle-15 and the AK-47 to any person,” wasn’t being voted on?

    Remington Arms declared bankruptcy yesterday.
    Victory over the NRA will come once every other gun manufacturer declares bankruptcy.
