Kobach is a truly awful person who specializes in voter suppression laws and anti-immgration policies. I would love this guy to end up in jail, but it doesn’t seem likely. Oh well:

There are very few elected Republican politicians who are not professional racists.
If one believes that war is the worst kind of racism there’s this.
By a vote of 87 to 10 the Senate passed the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act yesterday.
Our senators gave the military $717 billion dollars to waste in 2019 when that money could be better spent on health care, education, food stamps and so on.
The following Democrats voted against this morally bankrupt bill: Gillibrand, Warren, Durbin, Harris, Markey, Merkley, Wyden and Sanders.
These are the only Democrats in the Senate who are eligible to be candidates for president in 2020. (Forget Joe Biden.)
The rest of the Senate Democrats might as well be Republicans.
