Assassinating Assad was a stupid and dangerous idea.
But what Trump has done for Netanyahu on the matter of the Palestinians is far more dangerous.
There are three unresolved issued preventing a peace deal between the two groups.
1. How Jerusalem will be governed and by whom.
2. How to solve the issue of the “right of return” for Palestinian refugees.
3. What the permanent borders between Israel and Palestine will be.
Trump, by unilateral proclamation, gave all of Jerusalem to Israel.
He also cut off all aid to the Palestinian refugees and redefined who they are.
That’s two out of three, right?
Trump believes that he’s solved the most difficult Palestinian/Israel issues, when what’s he’s actually done is enrage the Arab street and the militants among them.
