I went to get a trim yesterday, and talked to the young woman who was cutting my hair. She was not registered to vote, and I made her promise she would do so before the deadline.
I was watching the Kavanaugh hearing on my phone, and she asked me about it. After I explained, she told about the boy who raped her in high school — “but he died, so I don’t have to worry about him anymore.”
“Good for you,” I said.
Sigh. I remember the good old days, when women used to bond over TV shows, or puppies.

Good old days?
