I went to stay at the beach with a friend this week, and I’m glad I did. Every single one of my nerve endings was buzzing; my head felt like it would blow up. I didn’t watch the news for four days, and it was a good time to stop.
I am doing my best not to start sniffing glue.
I mean, Republicans celebrating with champagne like they just won the Super Bowl? You know what we all have to do. Start doing it. You don’t even have to leave your house — you can make GOTV calls from your own computer and cell phone.
But don’t sit around and bitch about it. That won’t do a goddamned thing.
Republican voters are all fired up now that they’ve learned from their fearless leaders (Trump and McConnell) that the Democrats are nothing but a “howling, extremist, Left wing, mob” out to get them.
What Republicans are forgetting is that the fired up 85% who make up the 55% of pissed off non-Republicans in the country will always defeat the fired up 80% who make up the 45% of hateful Republicans in this country.
Even the worst Democrat (Chris Coons, Joe Manchin) is far better then any………any Republican up for election.
Local, state and federal. (Republicans are the enemy.)

The “check and balance theory” of government failed miserably in 2016.
It gave us Trump and enough Republicans to control everything.
