The years-long Republican scorched-earth, take no prisoners policy—–which is all on video——-has resulted in a packed Supreme Court and two illegitimate presidents.
America is not as close to having a Fascist government as Brazil, Poland and Israel are, but the US is on the Right path.
As long as the Republicans are striving for “a sever head wound” and the Democrats are engaged in “a pillow fight” the country will shift toward Fascism (corporate governance).
Just think: if all of the voters in 2000 and 2016 who voted for protest candidates who could not win had voted for Democratic candidates who could win, the supreme court would now be 7-2 in favor of Democratic president appointed justices.
I’m not a vindictive person, and I find most grudges to be counterproductive, but I will relish the look on McConnell’s face when he is bumped back to the minority.
It’s called triangulation and it was the brain fart of Bill Clinton and Rahm Emmanuel, honorable men both.
