Here’s an idea for Pelosi: propose a graduated gas tax to properly fund the Highway Trust Fund, so that we can pay for new infrastructure construction without going deeper into debt?
The tax should be based on income and not on “use” which it is now.
Subsidizing the poor by giving them a gas tax rebate is inefficient and creates corruption and a Black Market.
Is Pelosi forward thinking enough to come up with some new ideas?
Or is it going to be the same old same old, tired and warn out neo-Liberal corporate solutions that continue to fail everybody but the rich?
