I don’t know what concerns me more—that Trump wanted to abuse his power to prosecute his political adversary and a witness against him, or that few of us are surprised, many people don’t care, and his new Attorney General may enable him. https://t.co/omjpq8GT4S

Trump is a wannabe dictator who can’t read and so knows nothing about why Nixon got booted out of office.
Trump proved yesterday that he is corrupt to the core by giving Crown Prince bin Salman a pass.
So………Congress must act immediately to right the ship of state.
The US should not be taking sides in the Sunni vs Shiite reformation. We should be a neutral arbiter despite what Israel thinks.
Trump’s, “Maybe he did and maybe he didn’t,” isn’t good enough. (Although Kushner is probably pretty pleased.)
Neither is Pompeo’s, “The world is a mean, nasty place.” Pompeo is a dangerous, right wing ideologue.
The whole world knows that bin Salman ordered the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi. Doesn’t that make bin Salman an enemy of the US state?
Congress must demand that bin Salman be replaced by someone sane. Which should be easy for the King to do because Saudi Arabia is a Kingdom ruled by dictatorial royal family.
Congress must suspend all arms shipments to the Kingdom immediately. That should put an end to the wars in Yemen and Syria, and put an end to ISIS and al Qaeda.
Congress must sanction bin Salman and freeze all of his business dealings and bank accounts in the US. That should put an end to Kushner’s business empire.
