  1. Here the Democrats go again.

Instead of going for the whole enchilada, Medicare-For-All, they’re offering a piecemeal approach. Again.

Obama Care was a “steppingstone” the Democrats said 8 years ago.
It will eventually lead to a single-payer system they said.
Now 8 years later, not only do we not have a single-payer health care system in place, but Obama Care is on life support.

Any Democratic candidate running for president who isn’t 100% behind Medicare-For-All should receive zero (0) votes in the primary. It’s time to end the bullshit.

  2. Paul Krugman seems to think that the buy-in approach is the most likely to succeed. And the “on life support” ACA got me my cataract surgeries so I’m not blind any more.

  3. Medicare buying is a Great first step in transitioning. If.it was Medicaid, it would be even better if you consider the services provided.
The rush to the exits by the aging workforce would also create a huge demand for.labor which could force a significant increase in wages.
Also, employer based plans could then be renegotiated and a portion could be returned to workers in wages so employers dont get rhe entire upside of the savings.
Keep lowering the buy in would also ease the transition to the workforce who are employed in healthcare industries.
