Americans realized all of this way back in the Gilded Age of robber barons and so they elected Teddy Roosevelt to do something about it which he did.
Things were fine until Reagan was elected.
The Capitalists have been running wild ever since.
Elizabeth Warren has finally joined Bernie in rejecting big donor cash from corporations and the robber barons of today the oligarchs.
Mercers, Koch’s, Adelson’s, and the rest.
Warren, like Bernie, will rely only on small donor contributions.
Neither will be holding fund raisers nor will they be accepting money from industry groups like the health car industry and Big Pharma.
The rest of the Democrats running for president are corporatists themselves and see nothing wrong with taking piles of cash from whomever is willing to give it to them.
Kamala Harris, Amy Klobucher, Cory Booker, Joe Biden, to name a few.
These opportunists will take large sums of money from corporations, industry groups like Big Oil, wealthy oligarchs and well heeled plutocrats and think nothing of it.
At least until the day the piper comes calling.
