Nadler believes that Trump should be impeached and McGahn will help Democrats make that case.
But we have a bigger problem then Trump.
The goal of the Republicans is to limit who can vote.
They’d like to “make America great again” by disenfranchising whole groups of voters one group at a time.
(Which is way the census has a citizenship question.)
The founding fathers defined a citizen as a property owner 21 or over.
That definition effectively disenfranchised everybody except wealthy, white, males.
In the first election in 1789, only 6% of Americans voted.
That’s the direction Republicans want us to move back to.
Obviously our founding fathers were oligarchs and plutocrats who wanted to make all of the decisions.
And that’s why today’s Republicans are the “enemy of the people.”
Let’s hope that Nadler exposes the entire rotten underlying system.
