Trump self-identifies with the racist Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) when in fact he’s more like the racist James Buchanan (1857-1861).
Buchanan was a northern (PA) Democrat who supported slavery.
He was a weak, compromising and ambitious politician.
As president his policies cause an economic depression and facilitated the succession of the southern states into the Confederacy.
Until Trump was elected Buchanan was considered to be the worst president in US history.
But always striving to be #1 in all things, Trump has clearly jerked that dubious distinction away from Buchanan’s legacy.
Impeach Trump.
