If the US were an advanced democracy like England, France, Germany and lots and lots of other countries, we would have a universal, single-payer health care system in place and the health of all human beings would be an important priority.
But alas, we are being run by 600 wealthy oligarchs and their corrupt plutocratic henchmen who couldn’t care less about the health and wellbeing of American citizens and care even less then that about the health “wetbacks.”
Medicare For All would be the answer.
