  1. To the non-believers like Trump, who have been claiming for the past 75 years that the price of crude oil and its biproduct gasoline is never manipulated, your day of reckoning has arrived.

    Saudi Arabia which has been setting the price of oil since the end of WWII went to war with Russia today.
    The Saudi’s flooded the market with oil and drove the price down 30%.
    That sent the stock market down 1400 points.

    If the US produced at least 50% of its total energy needs from renewable energy sources it wouldn’t matter what Saudi Arabia did with its oil.
    Including keeping it in the ground because nobody wanted to buy it.

    We need a Democratic president, a Democratic senate and a Democratic house to force a shift away from Big Oil and to renewable energy sources.

    But if the Democrats fail to make substantial progress towards that goal by 2022, then perhaps all of those soon to be unemployed Republicans would be grateful to get a second chance to get ‘er done?
