Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats always seem to want to do the right thing but, they usually end up doing stupid things instead.
We all know that we need to wear a mask.
Unfortunately the US doesn’t manufacture enough masks to meet our needs.
China not only makes enough masks for their own needs but, they also make enough masks to meet the worlds needs.
In the HEROES Bill the Democrats are planning to spend tens of billions of dollars to buy Chinese manufactured masks.
Why don’t we spend those billions on expanding the capacity of US mask manufacturers and create jobs for unemployed American workers right here at home?
Yesterday the Democrats, specifically Speaker Pelosi, publicly condemned and sanctioned China for violating the rights of its workers among other things.
So on the one hand Democrats intend to spend tens of billions of dollars buying Chinese masks, made in Chinese factories, by Chinese workers, and on the other hand the Democrats are condemning the government of China for abusing its workers?
Either China is our sworn enemy or they are not.
