Huh. That’s strange because I spent the day with real Americans ice fishing in Minnesota and unprompted, they wanted to talk about the lack of COVID relief checks, the insanity of Qanon and their dismay over poisonous partisan division. https://t.co/GLBRuXin9f pic.twitter.com/zWgNmSMvY4

Real Americans also talk about increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Although Obama paid lots of lip service about including the “public option” in his health care bill, he never actually supported doing that.
The same can be said about Biden and the $15 an hour minimum wage increase.
Biden doesn’t really support it.
If Biden and Schumer were actually serious about increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour they would ignore the parliamentarians ruling or change the rule or get rid of the filibuster or all three.
But they’re not serious and neither are the Democrats in the Senate.
We don’t have a public option because Obama didn’t want one and we won’t be raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour anytime soon because Biden doesn’t want an increase.
So much for unity and goodwill.
