The military is claiming that they are reason that the US hasn’t been attacked in 20 years.
“We fought them there, so we wouldn’t have to fight them here,” is the biggest con job since Charles Ponzi first went into business.
The intelligence community claims that it’s been telling anyone who would listen since 2017 that the “whole Afghan thing could go to shit at any time unless at least 120,000 US troops were sent back into the country.”
(Trump had promised to end the war, not expand it.)
The politicians are claiming that they knew from the very beginning that Afghanistan was an incurably corrupt country.
But they all took the ride because they, the contractors, the profiteers, and everybody else was getting rich off the war so why rock the boat.
Maybe that’s why the US still has 3500 US combat troops in eastern Syria illegally?
To steal Syrian oil and sell it for a profit.
Biden needs to get those 3500 thieves out of Syria immediately.
