“They” say that some Democrats are uneasy about prosecuting traitors like Mark Meadows, Paul Gosar, Jim Jordan and the rest of the Republican Freedom Caucus because they’re politicians.
Their thinking is that if the Democrats go after them, the Republican Big Lie Party will go after Democrats on trumped up charges once they regain power.
How ridiculous.
If everybody followed that logic to its bitter end, then nobody would do nothing about nothing because they’d be too terrified of the retribution which might follow.
That logic smacks of Evangelical Catholism.
If we won’t prosecute those who attempted a coup on January 6, then who will we prosecute and for what crimes?
