Evangelical Christians and the National Socialist Movement have close ties.
Three members of the Orlando, Florida chapter of the Nationalist Socialist Movement were arrested one week after assaulting a Jewish man who took exception to their neo-Nazi demonstration near the University of Central Florida.
Student David Newstat was berated before he was punched, kicked and pepper-sprayed by Orlando chapter President Burt Colucci, 45, and members Joshua Terrell, 46, and Jason Brown, 47.
The men have all been charged with battery with a hate crime enhancement.
The day after the assault on Newstat these and other neo-Nazis demonstrated on an Orlando overpass by clicking together their hobnail boots and saluting their governor Ron DeSantis as he drove by.
Then there’s this, “Voting fraud conspiracy group has pipeline to DeSantis,” by Zac Anderson, Sarasota Hereld-Tribune, February 6.
Lots of interesting names and connections to the GOP group Defend Florida and its founder Evangelical Christian Caroline Wetherington.
