That tends to make cops believe they can do just about anything without consequences, and I’d bet that he’s done other things before this happened.

Yeah, they fired the asshole, but what about the other idiots in the department? You know: his superiors who hired him and HAD to have seen some sort of sign that this was the LAST guy on earth you’d put in charge of the damn sex crimes unit. Seems to me that those assholes oughta pay a price, too.
