  1. Probably true, but we need to make the Occupy movement about more than holding territory in downtown parks. Moreover, we need to prevent the mayors and police forces from shaping the debate to be merely about whether protests will be allowed to continue. Now that the cities have played their hand with the evictions, it’s time for the Occupiers to get out into the neighborhoods where people live, work and shop.
