A leading Republican contender running to be the next governor of Maine offered the dumbest idea ever to stop mass shootings. If a teacher encounters a madman with an AR-15 who just opened fire, just clock the guy over the head with a fire extinguisher.

  1. Moody’s idea is far more sane than Trump and the NRA’s idea of arming teachers with guns.

    The Democratic voter participation in the Texas primary yesterday was good, but not good enough.
    Compliments to Perez for getting a Democrat to run in almost every race in the state.
    It’s been a long time since that’s happened.

    But the Democrats need a massive turnout in November to take back the House and the Senate.
    That’s the only real way to stop Trump OR Pence in their tracks in 2019.

    Republican are the enemy and must be defeated.
