Because this is more logical than getting rid of the guns
In New Zealand, Australia and other places the population has accepted the fact that owning guns is a ‘privilege’ and not a ‘right’.
It would seem to be a far easier task to sell the citizens of the US on the necessity of eliminating the health care insurance industry then it would be to sell them on the idea that gun ownership was a privilege and not a constitutional right.
Wouldn’t it?
