The American people are simpletons who can only absorb a simple message. If they weren’t then Trump wouldn’t be the president.
If it gets too complicated most folks tune out and fall asleep.
On top of that they don’t trust anything that most politicians say. Nor do they trust the press. And for good reason on both counts.
Let’s take an example.
According to the press Pete Buttigieg has rocketed to the top of the Iowa polls with a 25% approval rating.
Warren, Sanders and Biden were all in second place.
What the media doesn’t tell us simpletons is that well over 60% of likely Democratic voters in Iowa haven’t even made up their minds yet about who they’re going vote for.
Therefore corporatist Buttigieg is getting 25% of the 30% of Democratic voters who have already made up their minds. Subject to change.
Nor does the media point out that when corporatist Biden entered the race 34% of Iowa Democrats supported him and today that number has shrunk by half to 17%.
Because Biden is sinking like a stone, his corporate supporters and Democratic voters in Iowa have shifted their allegiance to Buttigieg. Biden has dropped by 17% in the Iowa polls and Buttigieg has gone up by 16%.
Neo-liberal Pete Buttigieg, the corporate choice, is nothing more then the Great Value brand of Neo-liberal, corporatist Joe Biden.
We simpletons shouldn’t be fooled again by another Bill Clinton.
