Rep. Doug Collins’ head is stuck so far up Trumps ass that Trump has to constantly clear his throat.
Collins is also a strong supporter of Trumps push for a world-wide arms race.
Trump has been demanding that the NATO countries spend at least 2% of their GDP on NATO’s military spending. For the most part that goal has been met.
As a consequence Russian military spending has increased dramatically and so has China’s.
During his campaign Trump also promised to reduce the US contribution to NATO as the other NATO countries increased their contribution.
When Trump came into office the US was contributed 24% of NATO’s total spending. We now spend 18% of the total.
Trump is claiming a victory even though he knows that nothing has really changed in terms of total US dollars going to NATO.
24% of 100, is the same as 18% of 135.
There are lies, damn lies and statistics.
What Trump and the lying Republicans like Collins have succeeded in doing is making the world a much more dangerous place by telling all of their lies and backing them up using false statics.
