Many areas in this country are shutting down in order to try and “bend the curve.”
Which means that more workers will be added to the unemployment rolls through no fault of their own.
These people need our help to pay their rent, put food on the table, and possibly maintain whatever for-profit health insurance they currently carry.
But instead of bringing a coronavirus relief bill to the floor of the Senate, Moscow Mitch is voting on federal judges this week and going on Thanksgiving vacation next week.
Republicans are damnable creatures.
So much for comity. Someone should forcefully tell Sen. Sullivan that trying to kill your colleagues isn’t within the spirit of ‘reaching across the aisle,’
